3 Important people December 12 is the day of the Virgin of Guadalupe . On this day people go to la basilica. The virgin of Guadalupe is the mother of Jesus.

4 Posadas December 16 they start las Posadas which celebrates Joseph and Mary looking for shelter. Posadas continues through January 6th. On this day they have a party. They break piñatas, eat, sing, dance, and they do plays of Mary and Joseph looking for shelter.

5 Holiday December 24th is Noche Buena (good night). On this day people go with their relatives to stay awake for Jesus’ day of birth.

7 Language In Mexico they speak Spanish the language came from the Spanish when they came to México to rich the Aztecs there religion an language. Her are some Spanish words: Feliz navidad(merry Charismas) Feliz ano Nuevo( happy new year)

8 Decorations In Mexico they decorate their houses. On charismas they put up a tree with the nativity seen on the bottom of the tree and a star on the top. The star on the tree symbolizes the 3 kings that used the star to find Jesus.

9 Traditions For traditions in Mexico people put a tree up and next to the tree they put a nativity scene to represent when jeses and Mary were looking for shelter
