Row Labels AreaAn area to position fields that you want to display as rows in the PivotTable report Values AreaAn area to position fields that contain data that is usually numeric or financial in nature and the data is summarized – summed. Layout SectionThe lower portion of the PivotTable Field list containing the four areas for layout. Field SelectionThe upper potion of the PivotTable Field List containing the fields – column titles from your source data.

Publishing as Prentice Hall22 Create a PivotChart Report If changes are made in the associated PivotTable report, the changes are immediately reflected in the PivotChart report. PivotChart reports and its PivotTable report must be in the same workbook. A PivotChart report displays data series, categories, data markers, and axes in the same manner as a standard chart.
