6. Service Opportunities KRISPY KREME DONUT SALES : Meet at 7:45 am outside of Admin II. – Earn 1/2 hour of credit. – Seeking as many funny, loud kids as possible! – FEBRUARY 9, FEBRUARY 16, MARCH 2, MARCH 16 – Sign-up outside Mrs. Dau (120) or Mrs. Tarvin (418) room

7. Service Opportunities LOST MOUNTAIN MIDDLE SCHOOL “LIFE RIDE” EVENT : Meet at Lost Mountain office at 4:00 THIS FRIDAY! Event lasts until 9 pm. – Earn 5 hours of credit. – Need 10 students to be group leaders of 8-10 middle schoolers – Sign-up with Mrs. Tarvin TODAY AFTER THE MEETING!

Service Opportunities Shane’s BBQ Dinner Fundraiser : Members will help to publicize a specific night that Shane’s will donate 15% of all profits to Relay for Life. – NEXT DATE: – “DINNER WITH FRIENDS” – If you gather a group of friends/family members to eat dinner at Shane’s on one of HHS’s designated Relay for Life nights, collect the receipts. Bring them to the next meeting, and you’ll earn ½ credit of Relay for Life hours for each person that you bring with you. Limit 3 hours.

9. Service Opportunities BEARS FOR KIDS IN CRISIS – – WHEN KIDS ARE INVOLVED IN ACCIDENTS OR SCARY SITUATIONS, POLICE OFFICERS AND FIRE FIGHTERS COMFORT THEM BY GIVING THEM A STUFFED ANIMAL. CHILDREN ARE CALMED AS THEY CUDDLE THE STUFFED ANIMAL. THE KIDS GET TO KEEP THE NEW TOY. – LAST CALL!

10. Relay for Life T-Shirt Sales Every team at the Relay will have matching team t-shirts. Harrison’s team has a theme “Bringing the Troops to Fight Cancer,” and we’ll be wearing t-shirts with the following design. The shirts cost $10, and all profit goes to the American Cancer Society. You were given an order form when you came in. Please return the order form to Mrs. Tarvin or Admin 2 by VALENTINE’S DAY (2/14).

12. Relay for Life Walking Shifts Friday, May 6, 2011 7 pm to 7 am All members are required to attend for at least one hour. You are invited to stay the entire time. If you’d like to sign up for a shift today, see Hannah Lyons and Jamie Newton after the meeting.
