5 - 5 - Copyright Infogain Corporation, 2007 Infogain’s Assessment Model Pre-Execution Phase : Define Scope Define Methodology Identify Pre-requisites Identify: Executive sponsor(s) agents or people who are responsible for making the project happen; advocates who want the project; targets who will be the focus of the change made possible by the application; What are the viewpoints of each such constituency regarding the intended solution and its objectives? Do they align or diverge? Analyze. Finalize the interview schedule. Execution Phase : Assess current landscape Determine future landscape Gap Analysis and Prescriptive Solutions Road Map Business Case Qualification Phase : Identify if IG is qualified to do the job? Create a high-level synopsis of customer’s requirements Create a general mapping of requirements with knowledge artifacts. Verify if Infogain has competency in requisite knowledge base.

6 - 6 - Copyright Infogain Corporation, 2007 Qualification Phase Use this phase to assess whether Infogain is ideally positioned to perform the assessment exercise. How to do qualification assessment?  Create a high-level synopsis of customer’s requirements.  Create a general mapping of requirements with knowledge artifacts.  Verify if Infogain has competency in requisite knowledge base. Who should participate?  CSO Lead/Practice Head/CTO  Architect/Business Analyst Create a Backend Support Team if it is assessed that Infogain should participate in the exercise. The backend support team is a part of the assessment team and helps the principal assessor by doing backend research, evaluation etc. On several occasions, the principal assessor does the job staying onsite with customer. The backend support team can provide invaluable services by supplementing additional research documents, doing backend simulation or any other tasks that may deem necessary. Keeping an offshore team improves productivity.

7 - 7 - Copyright Infogain Corporation, 2007 Pre-Execution Phase The pre-execution defines the broad level understanding between Infogain and the customer for the assessment assignment. Use the pre-execution phase to accomplish the following:  Define Scope  Define Methodology  Identify Pre-requisites (Inputs from customer) Who should participate?  CSO Lead/Practice Head/CTO  Principal Assessor  Backend Support Team is to participate in this phase During this phase, identify the people whose inputs are important to accurately understand customer’s requirements, and the business objectivity or business necessity. Based on important stakeholders’ list, finalize an Interview Schedule. Accordingly identify the interviewer. The interview can be either teleconference-based or face-to-face. The transcript should be recorded. The interviewee for accuracy of the content should validate the recorded transcript.

8 - 8 - Copyright Infogain Corporation, 2007 Execution Phase. After the successful completion of the pre-execution phase, the exercise enters the next phase, i.e., the execution phase. The execution phase has following distinct components:  Assessment of the “Current State” (of the entity)  Determination of the “State-to-Be”  Gap analysis between “Current State” and “State-to-Be” and Presescriptive solutions  Prescription of Prioritized Solutions  Roadmap for further work to implement prescribed solutions  Business case to establish ROI *Please refer the Assessment Handbook Document for more details.
