Jeremiah 17:7-8 7 “… blessed are those who trust in the L ORD and have made the L ORD their hope and confidence. 8 They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit.

A Secondary Root System Far and Far and growing growing further further and and stronger stronger

Your Secondary Root System Far and growing further and stronger …continuing instant in prayer. Rom 12:12 Pray without ceasing. 1 Thess 5:17 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 5:20

Informal “Chatter” Prayer 1.Pay attention to the conversation in your head, and understand, deliberately, that God is part of it. 2.Cultivate awareness of complaints, turn them into praise through an act of willful prayer. 3.Praise Him for the delightful things that catch your eye.

4.Pay attention to the body of language of people and pray for them according to the insight. 5.Practice random acts of prayer. 6.Share with someone that you are doing all these things and invite them to be a fellow traveler. 7.Always (always means always) at a verbal or unconscious level, receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit by saying an informed “thank You.” ALWAYS!

A Tap Root deep and growingdeeper

Formal Depth Praying That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, Ephesians 3:17 I ask him to strengthen you by his Spirit—not a brute strength but a glorious inner strength—that Christ will live in you as you open the door and invite him in.

Formal Depth Praying And I ask him that with both feet planted firmly on love, you'll be able to take in with all followers of Jesus the extravagant dimensions of Christ's love. Reach out and experience the breadth! Test its length! Plumb the depths! Rise to the heights! Live full lives, full in the fullness of God. Ephesians 3:17-19

Formal Depth Praying Abide in me, and I in you. John 15:4 My counsel for you is simple and straightforward: Just go ahead with what you've been given. You received Christ Jesus, the Master; now live him. You're deeply rooted in him. You're well constructed upon him. You know your way around the faith.

Formal Depth Praying Now do what you've been taught. School's out; quit studying the subject and start living it! And let your living spill over into thanksgiving. Colossians 2:6-7

Formal Tap Root Praying Formal Prayer 1.Set aside a time and place every week. 2.Find a scripture and pray your way through it. 3.Buy a Book of written prayers, and read them as your own. 4.Buy and study a book on prayer. 5.Use the Lord’s Prayer as a template. 6.Write out some formal prayers. 7.Never pray without first reflecting on the Majesty of God. Never Ever. Let your first sentence(s) always be in exaltation of Him. Always. Every time.

8.Seek always to pray with a scripture in mind, and apply the scripture to the requests (daily bread) you make. 9.Invite a friend to do help you develop and hold yourself accountable. 10.Develop a list of promises God has made, and pray them in their context. 11.Introduce lofty praying in every context where you pray. 12.Always (always means always) at a verbal or unconscious level, receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit by saying an informed “thank You.” Always.
