2 “salawikain” - an indispensable part of Filipino culture

Every culture has its own ‘wisdom’ collections

5 What is a proverb? Heb: mashal = comparison, analogy (paghambing ng dalawang bagay) Pr 25:25 Like cold water to a weary soul is good news from a distant land. Pr 12:4 A wife of noble character is her husband’s crown, but a disgraceful wife is like decay in his bones.
