2 Physical Geography(Trinidad) In Trinidad there are a lot of rivers, but the most significant are the Oratoire River, its 50 kilometers-long, and extends eastward into the Atlantic Ocean, and the 40 kilometers long Caroni River going westward into the Gulf of Paria. Also in Trinidad most of the soils are very fertile, exceot the southern part of the island.

3 Physical Geography(Tobago) In Tobago there deep fertile valleys running north and south. The southern part of Tobago has a coral platform. Although Tobago has volcanoes, there are no active volcanoes. Forestation covers 43% of the island.

4 Government Trinidad and Tobago has a parliamentary democracy government. The president of Trinidad and Tobago is elected for a 5- year renewable term.

5 Culture The major religion in Trinidad and Tobago are Roman Catholic 26%, Hindu 22.5%, Anglican 7.8%, Baptist7.2%, Pentecostal 6.8%, Muslim 5.8%, Other.6% The Major ethic group are Indian 40%, African 37.5%, Mixed 20.5%, Other 1.2%.
