3 IntroductionWhat does it mean to be a friend? Are you a good friend? In this book, you will be reading about two good friends. Click on the frog below to view pictures of good friends. What do you see?
4 Before ReadingBefore you begin to read about Frog and Toad, take a picture walk. As you take a picture walk, predict what you think is going to happen in each short story.
5 During ReadingWhile reading, think about these questions: How is Frog a good friend? How is Toad a good friend? Click on the frog below to print out the Venn Diagram and fill it in. Be sure to write about at least five things that Frog and Toad do to show that they are good friends.
6 After ReadingNow that you have completed the book, you will need to pick a friend in our class to draw a picture of and write a letter to. In the letter, you will need to make sure that you tell your friend why he or she is special. Be sure to include the five parts of a friendly letter.
