5 Built in 1851 for Elsecar Colliery, Yorkshire At an advanced state of disrepair Contractors appointed:  Landscaping – Casserly Property Management  Restoration works – Calibre Metalwork Limited  Protective canopy – Canal Engineering Limited Landscaping works nearing completion Conservation and canopy works to complete by February 2015

8 Built in 1905 as a monument to the Duke of Bridgewater In a poor state of repair Recclesia Ltd appointed as contractor Works in two stages:  Vegetation removal – complete by 4 th Dec 2014 (1 day)  Conservation works – start on site in March 2015, complete by 30 th April 2015 (8 weeks)

17 Boothstown towpath Design work progressing - Alignment agreed with Bridgewater Canal Company - Liaising with Environment Agency / Viridor re: outstanding design issues Timescales (anticipated) - Contractor appointment – Jun 2015 - Construction phase – Jan – May 2016 (18 weeks)

18 Barton towpath Design work progressing well - Cross sections to be agreed with Bridgewater Canal Company - Advance tree removal works may need to take place prior to works starting Timescales (anticipated) - Contractor appointment – Jun 2015 - Construction phase – Aug – Nov 2015 (12 weeks)

19 Barton Aqueduct Design work to be complete by Dec 2014 - layout agreed with Peel Ports Site investigations / pre-treatment - Japanese Knotweed stem injection treatment undertaken - Ivy removed from Brindley’s aqueduct Timescales (anticipated) - Contractor appointment – Jun 2015 - Construction phase – Aug – Dec 2015 (16 weeks)
