2. Not the ‘Brightest’ Kid Thomas Edison was considered a trouble maker in school. He was kicked out of school in the 3 rd grade because he was unable to learn. He was born in Milan, Ohio.

6. Scientific Wizard He baked a cotton thread for 5 hours to produce a carbon filament. Edison put the filament in a glass bulb, pumped the air out, turned the current on and had “light.”

7. Edison = Entrepreneur Entrepreneur is a person who organizes and manages a business. Edison said that genius comes from “hard work and sweat.”
