3 Vocabulary Factor – a number that can be multiplied to find a product. FOR EXAMPLE 3 x 8 = 24 Three and eight are factors of 24. Product – the answer to a multiplication sentence. FOR EXAMPLE 2 x 10 = 20 Twenty is the product of two times ten.
