JOURNEY into “Better Relationships” Closeness Is Required

Journey into “better Relationships” TO GET THE MOST OUT OF THIS “JOURNEY” “U” MUST BE SPIRITUALLY PREPARED

Building Solid and Sure Our business is not to build quickly, but to build upon a right foundation, and right spirit. Life is more than a mere competition as between men and women; it is not who can work best; it is not who can rise highest in the shortest time, but who is working most patiently and lovingly in accordance with the designs of God.

TRIVIA QUESTION Who became a widow because of King David’s lust?

TRIVIA answer What lying woman was a widow for only about three hours? “Sapphira” (Who conspired with her husband, Ananias, to lie to) (Peter about the property they had sold) Acts 5:5-10 “…About three hours later his wife came in, not knowing what had happened. Peter asked her, ‘Tell me, is this the price you and Ananias got for the land?’ ‘Yes,’ she said, ‘that is the price.’ Peter said to her, ‘How could you agree to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look! The feet of the men who buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out also.’ At that moment she fell down at his feet and died…”

Journey into “Better Relationships” how to master your anger Aright!! You’ve gotten on my last nerve!!! Satan counts on this from “US” —ANGER— Please do not use these ‘EXCUSES’ “I’m just like my dad; I have a short fuse” “I can’t help getting angry; God made me that way” This is learned behavior!!! You were not created with craziness & anger; ‘YOU’ have charge over this as Children of the “Most High God”

Journey into “Better Relationships” how to master your anger Pro. 16:32 “Better a patient man than a warrior, a man who controls his temper than one who takes a city” Self-control is superior to conquest. Success in business, school or home life can be ruined by a person who has lost control of his or her temper. So it is a great personal victory to control your temper. When you feel yourself ready to explode, remember that losing control may cause you to forfeit what you want the most

Journey into “Better Relationships” how to master your anger If we must hang onto some anger; let it be: ORGE (or-gay)=Controlled anger or ‘Righteous Indignation’/ ‘Holy Anger’ Jesus’ Anger: Mk. 3:5 “He looked around at them in anger and, deeply distressed at their stubborn hearts, said to the man, ‘Stretch out your hand.’ He stretched it out, and his hand was completely restored” Jesus was angry about the Pharisees’ un- caring attitudes. Anger itself is not wrong. It depends on what makes us angry and what we do with our anger. To often we ex- press our anger in selfish and harmful ways

Journey into “Better Relationships” how to master your anger I.That Reserve Nerve A. First, We must confess our anger The one step solution: ‘To admit we have a problem’ 1. Take charge ‘Saints’…Pro. 29:11 “A fool gives full vent to his anger, but a wise man keeps himself under control” Be careful the 1 st part does not overtake you!!

Journey into “Better Relationships” how to master your anger I.That Reserve Nerve A. First, We must confess our anger 1. Take charge ‘Saints’… a) Why confessing is so important 2 Sam. 12:13a “Then David said to Nathan, ‘I have sinned against the Lord.’…” It’s important that we know that when we sin; it’s against ‘God’ b) The Spiritual Healing from continued sin Jm. 5:16a “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed…”

Journey into “Better Relationships” how to master your anger I.That Reserve Nerve B. Second, We must consider the cons- equences of our anger If you like being sick, both Spiritually and Physically, then hold on to the foolishness of anger 1. When you bring it home… Pro. 29:22 “An angry man stirs up dis- sension, an a hot-tempered one com- mits many sins” Your home and family is where you unwind; not tighten up because of the job!!

Journey into “Better Relationships” how to master your anger I.That Reserve Nerve C. Third, We must concentrate on the cause of our anger Quote: “I’m mad as hell!! And I’m not gonna take it anymore”—from network news Why are you mad is the question? 1. Calm down; what’s wrong… Pro. 15:1 “A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger” 2. Access what the problem is!!… Pro. 14:29 “A patient man has great under standing, but a quick tempered man displays folly”

Journey into “Better Relationships” how to master your anger I.That Reserve Nerve C. Third, We must concentrate on the cause of our anger 2. Access what the problem is!!… a) We revisit the solution for anger.. Jn. 13:34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another” b) Love Me; Love them…Jn. 14:15 “If you love Me, you will obey what I command”

Journey into “Better Relationships” how to master your anger —Impatient— A lack of patience is my undoing towards anger. Do what you said you were going to do, because it’s what “You” said you would do! It’s irritating to me to not have the forthright- ness to stand on your word. I challenge myself daily to not walk head-long into these walls of people that spark this type of angry beha- vior. When faced with it I tell myself to meet the challenge and focus on what good I can bring to the situation. Believe me when I say; “I get a lot of work at it”

Journey into “Better Relationships” how to master your anger THE PHRASE THAT PAYS!!!!!!!!!! MY FAITH WILL NEVER RISE ABOVE THE LEVEL OF MY CONFESSION

Journey into “Better Relationships” how to master your anger B.asic I.nformation B.efore L.eaving E.arth

Journey into “Better Relationships” how to master your anger WHAT IT SAYS This is my Bible, I am who my Bible say I am, I can do what my Bible say I can do. I have what my Bible say I have, my Bible teaches my spirit, my spirit teaches my mind, and my mind teaches my body. My Bible is full of promises and command- ments, my Bible has good and bad examp- les. How do I know my Bible is true? By comparing scripture with scripture and spiritual things with spiritual things. I study my Bible to show myself approved, rightly dividing the Word of God.
