9. Minneapolis Residency Program Vision: This program’s mission is to create a pipeline to licensure that will diversify the teaching corps and positively impact student achievement. This program will prepare residents to be effective urban teachers through a rich clinical experience aligned to high-quality, contextualized coursework. What? The Minneapolis Residency Program will include a yearlong clinical experience in-between two intensive summers of University of Minnesota coursework (approx. 15 months of preparation) Who? MPS, MFT and the University of Minnesota Principals can support the Minneapolis Residency Program in two ways: 1)Recommending talented MPS employees to apply 2) Becoming a residency cluster site
