3. The Great Chinese Famine was a disaster that would teach a lesson that would never be forgotten. During this time, you would see people on the ground begging for food. The horrible weather would make crops rotten and farmers and people who rely on these crops would starve from hunger. That was the cause of the famine.

4. Everywhere people were dying of hunger. As a result about 42 million people died. Stores were closing down.

5. Yang Jisheng Yang wrote a book about the famine which was about the famine. It was very popular. People found it interesting because it gave a lot of information.

6. People were happy that the bad weather was finally over because now they could eat again. The people who were sick were taken to the doctor to get checked up.
