Westbrook Village Verdict Background Westbrook Village Verdict was a result of a suit brought against the City of Peoria in 2005 for damages upon the Golf Courses at Westbrook Village Staff responded by creating a drainage improvement project to address the requirements set forth in the court order

Originally programmed as CIP Project UT00096 24-inch waterline, Beardsley Road Two miles of waterline between 87th Ave. and Lake Pleasant Rd. Originally programmed as CIP Project UT00145 These waterlines will become part of a North-South transmission system to increase the overall reliability of the City’s water system

American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) February 17, 2009 President Obama signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 City has applied for ARRA funds Application is pending approval by the Arizona Water Infrastructure Finance Authority The benefit to the City is a low interest loan (20 years at 2%) Pulice Construction’s contract has been amended to be in compliance with the ARRA funding requirements (Davis Bacon Wage Rates & Buy American)
