What is Modern?
Less coherent and with much looser boundaries than other styles, modern architecture is technically not even a singular style! Evolving over the years with aspects of many styles and many different Architects working out the ‘style’.
Worked with by tons of architects and critics, Frank Lloyd Write and Jonathan Glancey as examples.

Homes are normally 1 or 2 floors, but that does very.
Commercial buildings depend on the business for floor number.

-Concrete

5. Characteristics
Works with simplification of design, no “unnecessary details”
Works large amounts of glass
Use of industry produced materials
Visual expression of structure
True to materials, anything visible has a purpose, be it altered to not be as obvious or not.
