2 Pardubice is situated on the bank of the second longest river in the Czech Republic, the Labe River, where there is a mouth of another river called Chrudimka.

3 CULTURE OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC FOOD A Czech diet usually consist of a lot of meat such as pork, beef,poultry and a lot of organ meats like liver, brains and tongue. The meat is frequently prepared eith gravy and then eaten with dumblings, cabbage or potatoes. Vegetables are consumed daily, like carrots, peas and cabbage.

4 MUSIC AND ART Music is the most popular from of the art in the Czech republic and there is even a saying, “Co Cech, to muzikant”, which means “Every Czech is a musician”. About the art, th Czech Republic is know worldwide for their outstanding art glass and crystal. Each piece is individually made, mouth blown and decorated. Art glass collector’s value glass made by master Czech glass blowers in the Bohemian region of the Czec Republic.

5 SPORTS Sports play a part in the life of many Czech, who are generally loyal supporters of their favorite of individual. The two leading sports in the czech Republic are association football anche ice hockey, both drawing the largest attention of both the media and supporters. Ice hockey team won the gold medal at the 1998 Winter Olimpics and has won six gold medals at the World Championships. Other sports play in Czech Republic are tennis, basketball, volley ball, floorball and handball.
