2 Meeting Etiquette Remember: If you are not speaking keep your phone on mute Do not put your phone on hold – if you need to take a call, hang up and dial in again when finished with your other call – Hold = Elevator Music = very frustrated speakers and participants This meeting, like all of our meeting is being recorded – Another reason to keep your phone on mute when not speaking Feel free to use the “Chat” feature for questions, comments or any items you would like the moderator or participants to know. NOTE: This meeting is being recorded and will be posted on the Meeting Artifacts Wiki page after the meeting From S&I Framework to Participants: Hi everyone: remember to keep your phone on mute 2

8 Implementation Guide Content Review

9 Comments/Feedback on Response Data Elements Lynne Gilbertson: –Comment: Patient identifiers cannot be required because a patient may not have particular forms of identification. –Disposition: Make patient identification elements (SSN, License, State of License, Passport ID, Military ID, Tribal ID, Patient Identification Qualifier) Conditionally Required Carl Flansbaum: –Comment: “Pickup Person for Prescription” and “Pickup Person Relationship to Patient” not required. –Disposition: Both data elements made Optional Arnold Bilansky: –Provided clarity on Drug Strength and Dosage Form descriptions –Descriptions updated Patient Identification Qualifier

10 Comments/Feedback on Mapping and Pharmacy Data Elements Carl Flansbaum: –Comment: “Regarding the Request Prescription Date Range Fields -- I wasn't involved with the HL7 mapping but this field is the range of the PMP data request - the HL7 fields "DispenseDate" doesn't seem to match this” –Disposition: Support team following up on where HL7 uses DispenseDate Carl Flansbaum: –Question: Is 2.2.2.2.2 (Pharmacy Data Elements) basically going to be a copy of what's agreed upon for 2.2.1.1.5 (EHR Data Elements)? We shouldn't have to go through each field yet again, maybe just point out differences (if any) –Disposition: We should not have to go through each field of what was identified as required for the EHR request and response data elements if there is no difference in what Pharmacy transactions should contain for in the request and response.
