3 Articles special adjectives that modify nouns Ex: a, an, the Ex: Jennifer saw a brown fox in the bushes. We are going to the movies after school. Are you going to be an animal for Halloween?

6  This, that, these, and those can be both as adjectives and as pronouns.  When they modify nouns or pronouns, they are called Demonstrative Adjectives  Ex:  Adjective: What are these skates doing in the kitchen?  Pronoun: What are these doing in the kitchen?  Adjective: I prefer that brand of frozen yogurt.  Pronoun: I prefer that.
