Nation built portable tabernacles to dwell in for 7 days. All males go to Jerusalem. High Priest enters the Holy of Holies once a year. He stood before the Presence of God’s Glory. Passover deliverance was consummated. It was mandated to fast on this day. The high priest was required to wear holy garments woven from white linen (which were never worn again) instead of his normal colorful garments overlaid with the golden breastplate. Israel’s sins for the previous year were covered up. Christ took our sins away forever for all time. We boldly stand before the Presence of God. Deliverance from sin consummated. Redemption is finally complete.
