"Verily I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. "No reward do I ask of you for it; my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds الشعراء

11. Lut لوط عليه الصلاة و السلام The Response of Sodom And (remember) Lut! When he said to his people. Do you commit every kind of unlawful sexual intercourse (sodomy) while you see (one another doing evil without any screen)?" "Do you practice your lusts on men instead of women? Nay, but you are a people who behave with ignorance." There was no other answer given by his people except that they said: "Drive out (expel) the family of Lut from your city Verily, these are people who want to be clean and pure!" النمل

12. Lut لوط عليه الصلاة و السلام The Du’a of Lut "No reward do I ask of you for it my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds “Do you approach the males of mankind! "And leave those whom Allah has created for you to be your wives? Nay, you are a trespassing people!" They said: "If you cease not O Lut! verily, you will be one of those who are driven out!" He said: "I am, indeed, of those who reject your action (of sodomy). "My Lord! Save me and my family from what they do." الشعراء

14. Lut لوط عليه الصلاة و السلام The Guests of Ibrahim And verily, there came Our messengers to Ibrahim with glad tidings. They said: Salam He answered, Salam and he hastened to entertain them with a roasted calf. But when he saw their hands went not towards it (the meal), he mistrusted them, and conceived a fear of them. They said: "Fear not, we have been sent against the people of Lut“ { And his wife was standing (there), and she laughed. But We gave her glad tidings of Ishaq (Isaac), and after Ishaq, of Ya'qub (Jacob). She said (in astonishment): "Woe unto me! Shall I bear a child while I am an old woman, and here is my husband an old man? Verily! This is a strange thing!" They said: "Do you wonder at the Decree of Allah? The Mercy of Allah and His Blessings be on you, O the family [of Ibrahim. Surely, He (Allah) is All-Praiseworthy, All-Glorious.“ } Then when the fear had gone away from (the mind of) Ibrahim, and the glad tidings had reached him, he (Ibrahim) began to plead with Us (Our messengers) for the people of Lut. Verily, Ibrahim was indeed forbearing, compassionate, used to invoking Allah with humility, and was repentant (to Allah all the time, again and again). "O Ibrahim! Forsake this. Indeed, the Commandment of your Lord has gone forth. Verily, there will come a torment for them which cannot be turned back."

15. Lut لوط عليه الصلاة و السلام And when Our messengers came to Lut, he was grieved on account of them and felt himself straitened for them (and felt himself powerless). He said: "This is a distressful day." And his people came rushing towards him, and since aforetime they used to commit sins, he said: "O my people! Here are my daughters (i.e. the women of the nation), they are purer for you (if you marry them lawfully). So fear Allah and disgrace me not with regard to my guests! Is there not among you a single right-minded man?" They said: "Surely you know that we have neither any desire nor need of your daughters, and indeed you know well what we want!" He said: "Would that I had strength (men) to overpower you, or that I could betake myself to some powerful support (to resist you)." هود

16. Lut لوط عليه الصلاة و السلام عن ‏ ‏أبي هريرة ‏ أن رسول الله ‏ ‏صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ ‏قال ‏ ‏نحن أحق بالشك من ‏ ‏إبراهيم ‏ ‏صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ ‏إذ قال ‏ (رب أرني كيف تحيي الموتى قال ‏ ‏أو لم تؤمن قال بلى ولكن ليطمئن قلبي) ‏ قال ويرحم الله ‏لوطا ‏ ‏لقد كان يأوي إلى ركن شديد ولو لبثت في السجن طول لبث ‏ ‏يوسف ‏ ‏لأجبت الداعي البخاري و مسلم ( قال ورحمة الله على ‏ ‏ لوط ‏ ‏إن كان ليأوي إلى ركن شديد إذ قال ‏“لو أن لي بكم قوة أو آوي إلى ركن شديد“ فما بعث الله من بعده نبيا إلا في ‏ ‏ذروة ‏ ‏من قومه) الترمذي Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "We are more liable to be in doubt than Abraham when he said, 'My Lord! Show me how You give life to the dead.". He (i.e. Allah) said: 'Don't you believe then?' He (i.e. Abraham) said: "Yes, but (I ask) in order to be stronger in Faith." (2.260) And may Allah send His Mercy on Lot! He indeed resorted to powerful support (i.e. Allah). If I were to stay in prison for such a long time as Joseph did I would have accepted the offer (of freedom without insisting on having my guiltless less declared)." Bukhari and Muslim

17. Lut لوط عليه الصلاة و السلام They (messengers) said: "O Lut ! Verily, we are the messengers from your Lord! They shall not reach you! So travel with your family in a part of the night, and let not any of you look back; but your wife (will remain behind or will look back), verily, the punishment which will afflict them, will afflict her. Indeed, morning is their appointed time. Is not the morning near?" هود

18. Lut لوط عليه الصلاة و السلام Allah sets forth an example for those who disbelieve: the wife of Nooh (Noah) and the wife of Lut (Lot). They were under two of our righteous slaves, but they both betrayed them (their husbands by rejecting their doctrine). So they [Nooh and Lut] availed them not (their respective wives) with Allah and it was said: "Enter the Fire along with those who enter!" التحريم

19. Lut لوط عليه الصلاة و السلام The people of Lut (Lot) belied the warnings. Verily, We sent against them a violent storm of stones (which destroyed them all), except the family of Lut (Lot), them We saved in the last hour of the night, As a Favor from Us. Thus do We reward him who gives thanks (by obeying Us). And he [Lut] indeed had warned them of Our Seizure (punishment), but they did doubt the warnings! And they indeed sought to shame his guest (by forcing them to commit sodomy). So We blinded their eyes, (saying) "Then taste you My Torment and My Warnings." And verily, an abiding torment seized them early in the morning. القمر The Punishment

20. Lut لوط عليه الصلاة و السلام Verily, by your life (O Muhammad), in their wild intoxication, they were wandering blindly. So The Cry (torment - awful mighty scream) overtook them at the time of sunrise. And We turned it (the town of Sodom) upside down and rained down on them stones of baked clay. Surely! In this are signs for those who see (the Signs of Allah). And verily! It (the city) is right on the highroad (from Makkah to Syria). Surely! Therein is indeed a sign for the believers. 21. Lut لوط عليه الصلاة و السلام And verily, Lut (Lot) was one of the Messengers. When We saved him and his family, all, Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. Then We destroyed the rest (the town of Sodom). Verily, you pass by them in the morning And at night; will you not then reflect? The Punishment الصافات

22. Lut لوط عليه الصلاة و السلام And We left there a Sign for those who fear the Grievous Penalty. The Lesson العنكبوتالذاريات And We have left thereof an evident Sign, for those who (care to) understand.

23. Lut لوط عليه الصلاة و السلام Social corruption and erosion of morality is hated by Allah and worthy of severe punishment. Disruption of family structure. Misuse of created desires and instincts. Corruption and highway robbery. Meetings and clubs for spreading or practicing evil. Those who take refuge in Allah are in the strongest position and have the mightiest support. The plotting of Allah is the strongest. Kinship is not a privilege before Allah. Everyone is responsible for one’s deeds before Allah. Lessons

24. Lut لوط عليه الصلاة و السلام The Punishment of Allah is appropriate for the sin: Blindness for refusing to see the truth and indulging in sensual sins. Awful mighty cry for refusing to hear the guidance. Turning them upside down for upsetting the social order and turning family structure upside down. Raining stones and torment over them as they spread corruption and sin. Making them a clear and lasting lesson for the fate of those who have the audacity to announce and expose their corruption.
