Adam Peace be upon him The Temptation And he swore to them both, that he was their sincere adviser. الأعراف Lying Deception False Advice

Adam Peace be upon him The Sin of Adam and Hawwa So he misled them with deception. Then when they tasted of the tree, that which was hidden from them of their shame became manifest to them and they began to cover themselves with the leaves of Paradise. And their Lord called out to them (saying): "Did I not forbid you that tree and tell you: Verily, Satan is an avowed enemy unto you?" الأعراف

Adam Peace be upon him The Exposure of Adam and Hawwa Then they both ate of the tree, and so their nakedness (private parts) appeared to them, and they began to cover themselves with the leaves of the Paradise for their covering. Thus did Adam disobeyed his Lord, so he went astray. طه

Adam Peace be upon him The Exposure of Adam and Hawwa O Children of Adam! We have bestowed raiment upon you to cover yourselves and as an adornment; and the raiment of righteousness, that is better. Such are among the signs of Allah, that they may remember الأعراف

Adam Peace be upon him The Exposure of Adam and Hawwa O Children of Adam! let not Satan seduce you, in the same manner as he got your parents out of the Garden, stripping them of their raiment, to expose their shame; for he and his tribe watch you from a position where you cannot see them: We made the Evil Ones friends (only) to those without Faith. الأعراف

Adam Peace be upon him The Repentance of Adam and Hawwa They said: "Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If You forgive us not, and bestow not upon us Your Mercy, we shall certainly be of the losers." الأعراف

Adam Peace be upon him The Repentance of Adam and Hawwa Then Adam received from his Lord Words. And his Lord accepted his repentance. Verily, He is the One Who forgives (accepts repentance), the Most Merciful. الأعراف البقرة

The Sins of Adam and Iblees IbleesAdam Caused by Arrogance and Pride Caused by Weakness and Temptation. طه And indeed We made a covenant with Adam before, but he forgot, and We found on his part no firm will-power. ص Except Iblees (Satan): he was proud (arrogant) and was one of the ungrateful.

The Sins of Adam and Iblees IbleesAdam Defiance and Obstinacy Arrogance Regret and Shame Humbleness They said: "Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If You forgive us not, and bestow not upon us Your Mercy, we shall certainly be of the losers." (Allah) said: "What prevented you (O Iblees) that you did not prostrate yourself, when I commanded you?" Iblees said: "I am better than him (Adam), You created me from fire, and him You created from clay." الأعراف

The Sins of Adam and Iblees IbleesAdam Projected BlameAccepted Responsibility for Sin They said: "Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If You forgive us not, and bestow not upon us Your Mercy, we shall certainly be of the losers." (Iblees) said: "Because You have sent me astray, surely I will sit in wait against them (human beings) on Your Straight Path. الأعراف

The Sins of Adam and Iblees IbleesAdam Insisted on SinRepented and Asked Forgiveness They said: "Our Lord!

Adam Peace be upon him The Fall to Earth He (Allah) said: "Get you down (from Heaven to Earth), both of you, together, some of you are an enemy to some others. Then if there comes to you guidance from Me, then whoever follows My Guidance he shall neither go astray, nor shall be distressed. طه

Adam Peace be upon him The Repentance Then Adam received from his Lord Words. And his Lord accepted his repentance. Verily, He is the One Who forgives, the Most Merciful. البقرة

Adam Peace be upon him The Covenant 172. And when your Lord brought forth from the Children of Adam, from their loins, their seed (or from Adam’s loin his offspring) and made them testify as to themselves (saying): "Am I not your Lord?" They said: "Yes! We testify," lest you should say on the Day of Resurrection: "Verily, we have been unaware of this." 173. Or lest you should say: "It was only our fathers who took others as partners in worship along with Allah, and we were (merely their) descendants after them; will You then destroy us because of the deeds of men who practiced Al-Batil (i.e. polytheism and invoking and worshipping others besides Allah)?" الأعراف

Adam Peace be upon him Down to Earth 38. We said: "Get down all of you from this place (Jannah), then whenever there comes to you Guidance from Me, and whoever follows My Guidance, there shall be no fear on them, nor shall they grieve. 39. But those who disbelieve and belie Our signs, such are the dwellers of the Fire. They shall abide therein forever. البقرة
