8 The Course Swim from Rowing Club to Horse Shoe Bridge, exit at Emily Square Transition Area – Emily Square Cycle – 10km to Maganey (and back, twice) Run – 5km out and back; Sprint with loops

13 Your Role Ensure that competitors have a SAFE, FAIR and ENJOYABLE race at TriAthy Safety –Active Marshalling – Be Seen, Be Heard –Keep Traffic off route –Keep Spectators out of the way –Be vigilant for accidents & incidents –Report all emergencies Fairness –Watch for unsafe cycling –Rules of road and triathlon apply –Report race numbers for drafting and dangerous behaviour Enjoyable Race –Make sure people know where they are going –Advance warning of turns / turnarounds
