The system:
protects the tank by laying an aerosol screen in the direction of the attacking enemy that employs semi-active laser-guided anti-tank weapons or laser rangefinders
provides light and audio warning that the vehicle is being irradiated by a laser

enables the commander’s panoramic sight to be turned in the direction of the laser emitter
