12 Turn the Corner If you don’t give them time to read in the classroom, why do you think it will be important to them to read at home? It’s time for you to TURN THE CORNER! Do it by letting your students TURN THE PAGE!

13 Turn the Page Do it First. Train students to start class every day by sitting down and opening their book. This is their time to read.

Assess their reading – do the same assignment with different books, keep a log, find something that works for you!
