11 inspire a world of good Action-based task force consisting of staff, faculty, and students – The Pride Committee’s main objectives are to: Increase discourse, visibility, and programming for LGBTQ issues throughout the Wheelock community. Broaden the definition of diversity within existing campus initiatives or major programs. Create opportunities to share information about the LGBTQ and Ally experience that will address knowledge gaps and contribute to a more inclusive campus community. PRIDE COMMITTEE

12 inspire a world of good Past Programs & Initiatives include: My Love’s Not for Sale: An open discussion stemming from the exclusion in greeting cards, and other issues surrounding relationships and families during holidays. Review of Institutional Policy & Procedure: bettering the experience of LGBTQ students & employees Safe Space Training: Increase your knowledge of issues faced by LGBTQ individuals and improve your skills for supporting students and other individuals who may from time to time need a Safe Space on campus. Families in Focus: A photo-visibility project featuring Wheelock families. Brown Bag Lunch Series: A conversation series covering current events. PRIDE COMMITTEE CONTINUED
