4 YEARBOOK INFORMATION We will have a yearbook for all students interested in purchasing TreeRing is the company we are using and the yearbook is all online for students to purchase Those who purchase will have the option of customizing 2 of their own pages to reflect their interests and experiences outside of school. 5 CREDITS AND ELIGIBILITY All students must have 220 credits to graduate from a comprehensive, JUSD High School 220 must include [minimum, not limited to…] 4 years of ELA [40] 2 years of Math [20] (one yr must be Algebra 1) 2 years of PE [20] 3 years of Social Studies [1 WH, 1 US and 1 Govt/Econ] [30] 2 years of Science [1 Life and 1 Physical] [20] 1 year of Fine Art or Foreign Language [10] 5 credits of Health [5] 5 credits of Vocational class [5]Total: 150 Elective credits [70] Pass both ELA and Math portion of the CAHSEE with 350+

13 SENIOR ACTIVITIES Senior official Check out day: May 28 th MUST BE PRESENT ON THAT DAY FOR CHECK OUT Grad practice will be May 29 th @ 9:00 am MUST BE PRESENT TO PRACTICE AND PARTICIPATE THAT EVENING We will be having a senior breakfast/brunch at our site on the last day of school/checkout day for our 12 th graders. May 28 th Students may be interested in Prom and Grad Night They can attend those activities as guests of seniors from their home school I am also working with the other sites to determine if they will allot tickets for our students so they do not have to be a guest to those events. Will keep students posted on these activities.

In general, to receive aid from the federal student aid programs, you must meet the following requirements: Be a U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen. Have a high school diploma Enroll or be accepted for enrollment in an eligible program as a regular student seeking a degree or certificate. Be registered with Selective Service if required (in general, if you are a male age 18 through 25). Meet satisfactory academic progress standards set by your school. Certify that you are not in default on a federal loan or owe money on a federal grant. Certify that you will use federal student aid only for educational purposes. Where you can use your financial aide award money What is the FAFSA? The FAFSA stands for Free Application for Federal Student Aid. This form is used to determine the amount of money a family is expected to contribute to the price of attending a postsecondary institution. The results of the FAFSA are used in determining student grants, work study, and loan amounts. The FAFSA application is critical because it is used for Federal Pell Grants as well as California State Grants and other financial aid offered by colleges and universities.
