4. Students from the AP Human Geography class and GCI attended a talk by Peter Hessler last night. The Pittsburgh Contemporary Writers Series is sponsored by the University of Pittsburgh Writing Program. Hessler is an award winning non-fiction author whose previous work centered on China before shifting to Egypt.

6. Today is Eucharistic Adoration for the Sophomores. All are welcome to spend time with our Lord any time throughout the day.

7. Congratulations Congratulations to Natalie Frost, who signed to play Field Hockey at Drexel University. Sarah Clair, who signed to Crew at Duquesne University. McKenzie Zeh, who signed to run Track at The University of Pittsburgh. And Maria DeRenzo, who will run Cross Country at Case Western Reserve University. Congratulations to all! Good luck next year.

9. The next President's ThinkTank meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 21 from 7:30-8am in the Board Room of the Advancement Office. A sign-up sheet has been posted outside the President's Office.

10. If you're interested in buying autograph pages for the yearbook to have your friends sign, please give $5 to Amber Nolf or Gretchen Shepard during lunch periods to reserve yours! The money must be turned in by this Friday 4/17. If you buy a yearbook, you automatically receive a digital version to keep forever that will display on your iphone, tablet, or Android device! 11. DANCING WITH THE VIKINGS The third annual Dancing with the Vikings will be held Friday, May 1 st at Central Catholic’s McGonigle Theater. It will begin at 7 o’clock. Attend to watch some of your fellow students teach some Central Vikings a few dance moves. All funds will go toward The Guatemala Club and Central’s Haiti Fund. Admission is $5. Tickets will be sold next week during lunches. Bring some friends! It is a great event for an even greater cause!
