3 Lansing Central School District District Goals 1.5 year graduation rate of 90%. - 4 year graduation rate for class of 2014 is 93.9% 2.Increase proficiency rates by 5% over last year for grades 3-8 NYS ELA and Math exams and by 2-4% for Regents Exams. (Waiting for results) 3.Decrease in students failing 1 or more courses by 20%. - Share data dashboard. 4.80% of students will read on or above grade level in grades K-4. - 83% of students reading at or above grade level 5.Increase the number of grades 5-12 students reporting on two statements to 75% by 2014. A.There is in adult who I can trust and who can help me with problems. B.In general, I feel welcomed and appreciated by school adults. Youth development survey is being completed this school year.

Engage in professional development and training – Attendance at NYSBBA, local and regional advocacy events, school events, community conversations, town meetings and board retreats. 2. Complete an annual review of our Superintendent – Completed a mid year review and end of year review. 3. Develop procedures and protocols for BOE operations – Established board protocols.

Improve public communication - Communication with community through community conversations, informal and formal meetings, BOE meetings, and School Messenger. 5. Fill open BOE position - Completed 6. Improve Definition and Function of Committees - Continued conversation but review and discuss has improved understanding and purpose.

A.Community Conversations – Budget and School Start/ End time B.New administrator hiring – inclusive process C.Website – Maintaining up to date information regarding budget process D.Work collaboratively with the community E.Work with our local legislatures to demand more funding for public education

A.Continued work with the safety committee (large group and small group) B.Continued work with local law enforcement C.Continued work with Family Partnership Programs D.Continued review of school safety policies E.Continued improvement and efforts with our student support teams at each building. F.Presence in our school and local community.
