2. PROBLEM STATEMENT We found that from the year 2010 to 2014, there were a lot of complaints from lecturers that students have begun to not actively participate in the events that organized. This problem caused by: 1.The event did not attract the interest of students to join and the venue of the event always at the same place. 2.Does not get feedback from students on event were organised. 3.The activities that held were not interesting and not many activities that can participate by students.

3. OBJECTIVES To allow student share their interest and opinion about an event. To investigate the factors that cause students to not involve in an event organised at the P.I.S. To finds the ways to avoid the students from not involve in an event organised at the P.I.S. To find the ways to attract students participate in program/ event organised at the P.I.S.

4. 1. SHOULD POLYTECHNIC OF IBRAHIM SULTAN HELP IN CONTRIBUTING FUND IN EVENT ORGANISED BY THE STUDENTS

NUMBER OF STUDENTS THAT AGREE AND DISAGREE o The pie chart show the percentage of students who agree and disagree with the idea whether P.I.S should help in contributing fund for an event. o Slightly more than a fifth of Students from JKE and JRKV agree that P.I.S should help in contributing fund for an event organised by students. o Number of students from JPH that disagree are a third from the pie chart.

6. 2. WERE THE ACTIVITIES ORGANISED FUN AND ENJOYABLE?

7.  The bar graph shows students opinion towards an event.  The number of students from JKM that chose YES is a great deal higher than the number of students who chose NO.  The number of students from JKE that chose YES is a slightly higher than the number of students who chose NO.  The number of students from JRKV that chose NO marginally lower than the number of students who chose YES.  The number of students from JPH that chose NO is a considerably lower than the number of students who chose YES.

12. 5. STUDENTS PERCEPTIONS ON EVENT ORGANISED BY THE POLYTECHNIC OF IBRAHIM SULTAN

13.  The graph above shows level of satisfaction given by students.  The number of JKM students that disagree is slightly lower than the one who agree but far higher than the number of students who strongly agree.  Level of satisfaction for JKE students are equal between Disagree, Agree and Strongly disagree.  The number of JRKV students that agree is a great deal higher than strongly agree.  The number of JPH students that answer agree is substantially higher than disagree.

14. CONCLUSION It is found that the factors that contribute students lose interest to participate in Event conducted in Polytechnic of Ibrahim Sultan as follows: i.The event did not attract the interest of students to join. ii.Lack of information regarding the event. iii.Students feels lazy to participate in the event that organized in P.I.S. iv.The event that held is too formal and the rule of the event is too strict.

15. RECOMENDATIONS The following are the suggestion on how to improve level of interest among students towards an Events that being held in Polytechnic of Ibrahim Sultan. i.P.I.S or event organizer should do some research about the event that can attract students to participate. ii.P.I.S or event organizer need to give more information before the event start. iii.P.I.S or event organizer should do different events than they usually do.
