3. © 2006 SHRM SHRM Weekly Online Survey: March 21, 2006 Held Accountable to Ethics Standards HR Professionals were somewhat more likely to agree that both employees (87% “strongly agree” or “agree”) and managers (83% “strongly agree” or “agree”) are held accountable in their organizations compared to 2003 survey results (employees, 74% “strongly agree” or “agree” and managers, 69% “strongly agree” or “agree”) This increase could be attributed to the high media coverage of ethics misconducts of recent years.
