If you fail to obtain something of worldly benefit, take it as if the thought of it had never crossed your mind at all. Never did a nation resort to mutual counsel except that they were guided by it towards maturity. It is love which brings closer those who are remote by ancestry, and it is (the absence of) love which causes dissociation between those who are related by ancestry. Opportunity is something which is quick to vanish and late to return. I wonder about the person who contemplates about his nutrition but he does not consider (the food of) his intellect. Thus, he avoids of what hurts him in his stomach but he lets his mind to be filled with what destroys him. Piety and Purity of Imam (A.S.) Imam Hassan (A.S.) was the most pious, devout and ascetic worshiper and adorer of God. Whenever he went to Mecca for pilgrimage, he would go walking on foot. Whenever he performed ablution or stood for his prayers he saw himself in the court of God and his body started trembling he said, "The time has come for me to submit the deposit of God to Him." When he came to mosque, he would raise his head, in the prayer place, towards the sky and say, "Oh God this is your guest standing in your court. Your defaulter servant has come towards you. And he hopes that you will forgive his bad deeds, by virtue of your kindness and forgiveness."

Imam Hasan (A.S.) - The Leader of the youth in Heaven WWe send our congratulations to Imam Muhammed Al Mahdi (A.t.f.s), our holy Ulama, and the Muslim Ummah on the birth anniversary of Hasn-e-Mujtaba, The Leader of the youth in Heaven, the vicegerent of AlMighty Allah, the Savior of Islam, the fourth shining light that will never turn off, the shining star, the second Imam, and the fourth infallible,

 Name: Al-Hasan  Title: Al-Mujtaba  Infallible: 4th  Imam Kunyat: Abul Muhammad  Father: Ali Ibne Abu Talib  Mother: Fatima Bint-e-Muhammad  Born: 15th Ramadan 3 AH (625 AD)  Died: 28th Safar 50 AH (670 AD)  Martyred: Poisoned by Joda  Buried: Cemetery of Jannatul Baqi  Lived: 47 years

Imam Hasan (A.S.) - The Leader of the youth in Heaven - His birth and name IImam Hasan(a.s.) was born on the 15th of Ramazan in the 3rd Hijrah. His name was suggested by Allah(swt) through a Vahi to the Prophet Mohammad(sawaw) which suggested that since Imam Ali(a.s.) is to the Prophet(sawaw) as Hazrat Haroon(a.s.) was to Hazrat Moosa(a.s.), the name of his child should be on the name of the son of Hazrat Haroon(a.s.) which was Shabbar – meaning Hasan(a.s.) in Arabic. This was the first time that a child was named Hasan.

Imam Hasan (A.S.) - The Leader of the youth in Heaven - His knowledge  Imam Hasan(a.s.), like all other Imams(a.s.) was granted divine knowledge by Allah(swt) and he demonstrated it right from his childhood. Once he was asked "What are the 10 strong things that are stronger than one another?". He replied: Among the strong things is stone; even stronger is the iron which is used to break stone; even stronger is the fire which melts iron; even stronger is the water which extinguishes fire; even stronger are clouds that carry water with them; even stronger is the air which floats the clouds with it; even stronger is the angel who moves the air; even stronger is the angel who will give death to the angel who moves the air; even stronger is the death which will come upon the angel of death; and even stronger is the order of Allah(swt) which governs the death.

Imam Hasan (A.S.) - The Leader of the youth in Heaven - His knowledge  Once the ruler of Rome asked him, "Which are the creations which were born without a mother and father or Male and Female", and Imam(a.s.) replied: These are 7 creations: Hazrat Adam(a.s.), Hazrat Hawwa(a.s.), the lamb which was sent in place of Hazrat Ismaeel(a.s.), The camel of Hazrat Saleh(a.s.), The serpent of Hazrat Moosa(a.s.), Iblees and the crow that taught the method of burial to Qabeel.

Imam Hasan (A.S.) - The Leader of the youth in Heaven - Some Ahadees in His praise  1. Ahmad ibn-e-Hambal, Tirmizi, Nisai and ibn-e-Habban quoted on authority of Hazrat Huzaifa(r.a.) and Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri(r.a.) that Prophet Mohammad(sawaw) said – “Hasan(a.s.) and Hussain(a.s.) are the leaders of the youth of paradise and Fatimah(s.a.) is the leader of the women of paradise.”  2. Tirmizi and ibn-e-Habban quoted from Hazrat Usama bin Zaid(r.a.) that Prophet Mohammad(sawaw) said – “Hasan(a.s.) and Hussain(a.s.) are my and my daughter’s sons. O Allah I love them so you love them too and you love anyone who would love them.”

Imam Hasan (A.S.) - The Leader of the youth in Heaven  He was one of the two persons in whom the progeny of the Holy Prophet ( S.A.W.) was limited. He was one of the four persons through whom the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.) made the contest of prayer (Mubahila) with the Christians of Najran.  He was one of the five persons whom the Holy Prophet ( S.A.W.) covered with his cloak. He was one of the twelve Imams whose obedience Allah made incumbent on people. He was among those who were purified from sins as the Holy Qur'an says. He was among those whose love Allah made reward for the divine mission of Islam. He was among those whom the Apostle of Allah made one of the two valuable things (Thaqalayn). Thus, whoever cleaves to them does not go astray. The Holy Prophet ( S.A.W.) loved him and asked Allah to love those who love him.  Imam Hasan(A.S.) the Second Holy Imam of the Shi'ites in the world was Divinely gifted with all great qualities to such an extent that he was outstanding in knowledge, tolerance, intelligence, bounty and valour.

His great worth and status in the eyes of the Prophet (SAW) can be guessed by these events: One day, Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) was on the tribune, delivering a speech to the people, he heard the voice of his weeping. He came down from the tribune, went to calm him down, and then returned to his place. When the people asked him the reason for this act, he said, “Whenever I hear the voice of his weeping I get restless”. The Prophet (SAW), having offered his prayer along with the people, would lift Imam Hassan (AS) into his lap and would say, “Whosoever loves me, must love this child as well.” Sometimes, he lifted this child upon his shoulder and said, “It is hoped that God will purify this Ummah through him.” Or he would say, “Whosoever loves Hassan (AS) and Hussain (AS) he loves me and whosoever nurses grudge and has enmity against them has enmity with me.” “Hassan (AS) and Hussain (AS) are the two chiefs of the youths of the paradise,” he had said. Then he said, Hassan (AS) and Hussain (AS) are the two earrings of the Empyrean, paradise of God takes pride and potentates due to them. Imam Hasan (A.S.) - The Leader of the youth in Heaven

 Imam Hassan (AS) whenever he went to Mecca for pilgrimage, he would go walking on foot. Whenever he performed ablution or stood for his prayers he saw himself in the court of God and his body started trembling he said, “The time has come for me to submit the deposit of God to Him.”  When he came to mosque, he would raise his head, in the prayer place, towards the sky and say, “Oh God this is your guest standing in your court. Your defaulter servant has come towards you. And he hopes that you will forgive his bad deeds, by virtue of your kindness and forgiveness.” Imam Hasan (A.S.) - The Leader of the youth in Heaven

Imam Hasan (A.S.) - The Leader of the youth in Heaven - Problems during and after his life  As with the other Imam(a.s.), Imam Hasan(a.s.)’s life was also filled with difficulties. From the very childhood he saw the faces and activities of the so called companions of the Prophet(sawaw) who left him alone in several battlefields, who objected to the Prophet(sawaw)’s decisions up to the stage that some of them expressed their doubts that he was Allah(swt)’s Prophet. Then upon the demise of Prophet Mohammad(sawaw), he saw that only a handful of his faithful companions were there to bury him and the rest had left him to share political power among themselves. He saw the atrocities of Bani Ummayad in the way they treated the Ahle Bait(a.s.) and hurled accusations against Imam Ali(a.s.) after the killing of Hazrat Usman. He lived through the battles of Siffen and Jamal and finally saw the martyrdom of his father Imam Ali(a.s.). As if all of this was not enough, even after his death the agents of Bani Ummaya continued their work against the Ahle Bait(a.s.) and grafted stories of hundreds of marriages of Imam Hasan(a.s.). Some mentioned that he married 70 times and other said that he married more than 300 times but none could count names of more than 10 wives. Such was the strength of their hatred that upon his death, he was not allowed to be buried alongside his grand father, the Holy Prophet Mohammad(sawaw).

Imam Hassan (p)’s quotes: A little selection  Here are a few sayings of the Chief of Messengers (p)’s grandson and the Leader of the Youths of Paradise Al-Imam Al-Hassan (p):  It is love which brings closer those who are remote by ancestry, and it is (the absence of) love which causes dissociation between those who are related by ancestry.  Opportunity is something which is quick to vanish and late to return.  I wonder about the person who contemplates about his nutrition but he does not consider (the food of) his intellect. Thus, he avoids of what hurts him in his stomach but he lets his mind to be filled with what destroys him.  If you fail to obtain something of worldly benefit, take it as if the thought of it had never crossed your mind at all.  The height of intelligence is associating with people amicably.  Piety is the gateway to all repentance, and the principal of all wisdom, and the distinction of all deeds.  Whoever relies on the excellence of Allah’s choices, doesn’t wish to be in other than the situation that Allah has chosen for him.  Do not be hasty in punishing (someone’s) sin, and leave (room) between the two (fault and punishment) for apology.  One who lacks intelligence has no decorum, and one who lacks determination has no magnanimity, and one who has no modesty has no religion  By: Binte Muhammad

Imam Hassan (p)’s quotes: A little selection  The best wealth is contentment and the worst poverty is humility.  The most discerning eye is the one that penetrates (views) into the blessings and the most auditory ear is the one heeds reminding and benefits from it. And the most pure of hearts is the one purified from doubt.  O’ Son of Adam! abstain from the unlawful and you will be a worshipper, and be content with what Allah has predestined for you, you will be sufficient, be benevolent to those who take up proximity in your neighbourhood, you will be a Muslim.  Tolerance of the noble is forgiving, if apologizing is difficult for the sinner.  The most preferable adornment is graceful manners.  Clemency is suppression of anger and self-restraint.  Generosity is giving in prosperity and adversity.  It is for you to ponder, for it is revitalization for the heart of the perspicacious and the key to the gateways of wisdom.  Befriend people in the same manner you would like them to befriend you.  Brotherhood is loyalty during adversity and during comfort.  It is incumbent on whoever stands in the presence of the Lord of Throne (Allah), that his colour pales, and that his limbs tremble.  One is ignorant of blessing as long as they are present, but when they pass, one becomes aware (of the value) of them.

Imam Hassan (p)’s quotes: A little selection  Teach others your knowledge & learn knowledge of others so you will bring your knowledge to perfection & learn something which you do not know. (BIHAR UL ANWAR, VOL 78, P-111).  A person asked him, " What is generosity & magnanimity ' He replied, " To secure & protect the religion, & respecting one's soul, (self respect) & softness of conduct (gentleness in behavior) & permanency of favour & kindness & the discharging of rights. (BIHAR UL ANWAR, VOL 78, P- 102).  The annihilation of people lies in 3 things Arrogance, & greed & jealousy. (BIHAR UL ANWAR, VOL 78, P-111).
