2006www.humanresources.com.au The OHR Directors SHARN CHISHOLM & SIMON LANE OHR was founded in 1998 by Sharn Chisholm to provide the “A to Z” of human resources to industry. Sharn enjoyed an extensive corporate career in Optus Cable & Wireless, Sterling Pharmaceuticals, Philips, and Coles Myer Department Stores Group. It was this corporate exposure that attracted large Companies and government to OHR. OHR’s ability to drive in value adding outcomes in a timely manner helped form our motto “clever people solutions”. In 2000, current Managing Director Simon Lane joined OHR. Simon had an extensive Corporate HR Career with the Commonwealth Bank, TNT, Coles Myer Department Stores Group, Mitsubishi Electric AWA, and Australian Airlines. Simon has a Master of Commerce as well as postgraduate qualifications in Labour Law, Occupational Health & Safety, and a Diploma in HR Management. He is a Fellow of the Australian Human Resources Institute, Member of the Australian Institute of Management, Member of the American Society of Training & Development, Member of the Australian Institute of Training & Development, Member of the Society of HR Management (USA), Member of the Industrial Relations Society of NSW, and Member of the American HR Planning Society.
2006www.humanresources.com.au The OHR Staff - There are between 12 and 20 people working for OHR at any given time. - In 2004 OHR established its Western Australian operations in Perth, and appointed General Manager Carlie Pollock to that role. Carlie has had expansive HR experiences in the Finance market as well as consulting to OHR for a variety of clientele. - In 2005 Company founder Sharn Chisholm opened the Queensland office on the Sunshine Coast. - In 2006 the Adelaide office was opened by General Manager, Melanie Satterly whilst the Sydney team was expanded through the addition of Robin Elliott as a Consulting Partner. - OHR has employees and contractors assigned to a wide variety of roles and service agreement operated by the company. In addition to this, OHR works in conjunction with its alliance partners to provide outstanding human resources solutions across Australia and internationally. - Alliance partners work in the areas of Industrial Law, Mergers and acquisitions, Occupational health and safety, Learning & Development, Executive Search and selection, Executive Coaching/mentoring, and general human resources management.
