5. Step 1: Log on to www.iowagrants.gov September 2011

6. Step 2: Enter user name and password September 2011

7. Starting an Application Designate one person from your organization to create the FY12 application. Other individuals from your organization, if requested, will be tied to the application by the Program Officer (Jeanette Thomas at the Iowa Department of Education) September 2011

8. Step 3: Select “Funding Opportunities” New App Existing App September 2011

9. Step 4: Select the FY12 Supplementary Support Services for Individuals in State Correctional Institutions Application September 2011

11. Step 5: Select “Start a New Application” September 2011

12. Step 6: Enter base information for your application and select “Save” September 2011

13. Step 7: On the next page, select “Go to Application Forms” September 2011

14. Step 8: The components comprising the application will be listed. Select “Cover Sheet--General Information” to start. September 2011

15. Step 9: Once information has been entered in a form, select “Save” September 2011

16. Step 10: Once all information for a form has been saved, select “Mark as Complete.” September 2011
