Age: 10 Gender: Male Intelligent for his age, target of bullying, liked by few, misunderstood. Full Time Student at Dimmsdale Elementary School.
Paranoid schizophrenia has many symptoms, some of which are Delusions, Hallucinations, Disordered Thinking, Catatonic Behavior and the Flat Affect. Timmy Turner seems to show all of the listed behaviors.
Causes of paranoid schizophrenia can be inherited by siblings. People with a direct relation to a person with schizophrenia have a 10% chance to inherit the disease. Schizophrenia is also very strange because 60% of people are not related to anyone with the disease.
Timmy Turner shows symptoms that resemble delusions, hallucinations, disordered thinking, catatonic behavior and the flat affect.
Some say that his Fairy God Parents are just a figment of his imagination. When the perspective changes to someone that is not Timmy, there are no Fairies in sight.
There are many times in the show where Timmy shows no emotion when he should be showing something. This is one of the many signs that a person may have Schizophrenia.
In the show, Timmy will sometimes ignore his real friends and spend all his time with the Fairies. Sometimes, Timmy will daydream and stay in these dreams for a while.
This patient would benefit with physical activity. Stress can often times make the schizophrenia worse and make it more apparent in a person.
Drugs are often prescribed to patients with Paranoid Schizophrenia. Some drugs to help with schizophrenia are loxapine, molindine, moban and geodon.
