Goals of Parent Night To understand courses your student must take to meet the new graduation requirements To better understand the rigor of high school To lessen the stress and anxiety of high school transition time.
Mission The mission of the High School Mathematics Department is to teach students analysis and higher order thinking skills that will enable them to thrive in a dynamic environment of Science, Technology, and Mathematics.
Vision The Mathematics Department devotes itself to prepare students to acquire the following competency skills: Problem Solving Reasoning Ability Technology Work Ethics
Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II 4 th Math Course to be aligned with the student's post high school plans.
Algebra Skills Learned in Quarter 1 Interpreting the Structure of an Expression Solving Linear Equations in One Variable Solving Linear Inequalities in One Variable
Algebra Skills They Are Learning Writing Linear Equations in Slope-Intercept Form Graphing Linear Functions Solving Systems of Linear Equations by Graphing, Elimination or Substitution Method Graphing Linear Inequalities in Two Variables Interpreting and Evaluating Functions
