As seen by Muslims, Napoleon invasion of Egypt is the precursor of the Western invasion and dominance of the Muslim world, and this includes Israel’s rebirth. Napoleon emancipated Christians and Jews from their status as second class citizens (dhimmis) in Egypt. Napoleon impacted the three monotheistic religions, Christianity, Judaism, Islam and sowed the seeds of modern conflict among the three. Napoleon’s invasion was the beginning of the Lord’s preparation of the Muslim world for the kingdom.
