LETTING.OFF.THE.PRESSURE (17-18): Everybody seems to be under a pressure. What does it? What's the matter? It's a day of pressure. People are driving through the streets at ninety miles an hour and getting tickets from the policemen. And run down the road, almost take the chance on losing their life to whirl around, and get five foot in front of someone else, to get to a barroom to drink an hour 'fore they go home. Pressure. Even Christians, it's bothering them. See some of them all pressured up, and snap you off, enough temper all built up like they're going to blow up. What's the matter? Something wrong. That shouldn't be. Temper comes from Satan. Everybody's under a pressure though. … (Skip) … If Satan can once get you under pressure, he's about got you whipped. That's right. So much pressure. People are doing things wrong, and trying to hide from it. Well, the only thing that does is build up more pressure.
REVELATION.BOOK.OF.SYMBOLS (97): Follow the instructions, not the emotions; the instructions. If Moses would've followed the emotions of the people, they'd have been running all over the mountains, screaming, and Pharaoh's army would've got them. But they followed instructions. God said, "Stand still now and see the glory of God." Just stand still. You don't have to get excited; stand still and see the glory of God.
E POWER.OF.GOD (E-14): The greatest experiences of my life, is when I come up against a mountain that I can't get over it, under it, or around it. And just stand still, and God will move the thing back. And He will move... No matter how dark the cloud is, faith pierces it yonder with a eye that looks beyond anything that the devil can set before you. 1Thess.4:11: And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;
WHY.ARE.PEOPLE.SO.TOSSED.ABOUT (21-3): The Holy Ghost comes in the quiet of the hour. You know, you go out of a morning real early when the dew is on the ground. The dew falls just before daylight, usually sometime in the night, after the hustle and bustle of the world is gone to bed, after everything is asleep. Did you ever go out early of a morning? And you go out early, and you see how everything's so fresh, just real fresh, early of a morning
