7 Setting Up the Training Site for Safety The training location should allow for Three distinct zones to ensure proper safety protocols are followed  Unsafe Zone  Semi-Safe Zone  Safe Zone

8 P REPAIRING T HE T RAINING L OCATION F OR “Safety”  Safety is Paramount  Engagement Zones  Avoid dangerous terrain and small confined areas  Live Ammunition Protocols must be Established and Enforced  Safety Checks of Students by Instructors  Limit access to areas where live ammunition is kept
