2 Born March 27 th, 1963 in Knoxville, TN Attended an acting class for two years. Never attended film school, but cites working as a video rental store clerk as an inspiration to make films Tarantino met Lawrence Bender at a Hollywood party in early 80s, who encouraged him to write a screenplay.
