2 Key Truths Answers Lesson Seventeen The Lord’s Supper was instituted by Jesus on Maundy Thursday. We see the bread and wine; with these elements are Jesus’ own body and blood. Jesus gave us the Lord’s Supper in order that we remember his death and to personally assure us of our forgiveness. A Christian will receive the Lord’s Supper after being instructed, examining himself, and being united in faith with fellow believers.

6 The Giving of God’s Law God gave the world His Law in two ways:
