2 2009/2010 Strategic Planning Our Vision The Rotary Club of Traverse Bay Sunrise will be noted for service that results in: Improving the lives of local youth through need- based projects and Improving families and communities internationally through life-sustaining fresh water. We will be 75+ members strong, aligned in purpose and enthusiastically engaged... the service club of choice in Traverse City. Defined and adopted by membership in 2010

3 Big Hairy Audacious Goal Identify a global service project, focused on water, that inspires 100% member involvement

5 The Process Committee was formed RFPs were solicited Members were engaged to help score RFPs Shortlist of three (Haiti, Honduras, Nicaragua) presented at “Big Reveal” October 2011 Electronic voting process – Honduras selected

6 Funding Sunrise Foundation ($3,000) Rotary Charities Challenge Grant ($3,000) Rotary District 6290 Designated Funds ($6,000) Rotary Club of Plymouth, MI ($5,000) Rotary Club of Usula ($2,000) District 4250, Honduras ($3,000) $22,000 on hand seeking $15,500 TRF match
