4 COMMON QUESTIONS Why is it important to have attorneys? Who administers the program? Which counties can participate? Population 10,000 or less 48 counties meet population requirement Agree to provide portion of incentive payment Determined Eligible by the UJS What is the financial commitment?

5 HOW IT WORKS 4 Year Pilot Program Eligible Counties Contact UJS to Make Application Applies to licensed attorneys Agree to Practice Full-time for 5 years If breech have to pay it all back and subject to discipline by Supreme Court 16 Attorney Limit Yearly Incentive Payment for 5 Years Equal to 90% USD Law Tuition as of July 1, 2013 County pays 35% May enter agreements with municipalities, school districts or nonprofits to share cost. State Bar pays 15% State pays 50%
