6. We are going to read this article closely: Step 1 – Number the paragraphs. Step 2 – Chunk the text (i.e. paragraphs 1-3, 4-5, etc.) Step 3 – Underline any claims (belief statements the author is making) Circle any confusing terms or words you do not know.
