Ptolemy drowned in the Nile River and Cleopatra became the sole ruler of Egypt. She fell in love with Julius Caesar and had a kid. Though she loved him, she wanted to keep Egypt free of Rome's power. She built up the economy, establishing trade with other Arab countries. romantically involved with both Mark Anthony and Julius Caesar. She used Antony to get better land and materials for Egypt. He had an affair with her and that made his wife mad so her brother declared war against Cleopatra and they won. Antony took his own life so Cleopatra was captured and killed herself.
