3 Arthritis Defined… The term arthritis refers to an “inflammation of a joint”. It is used to refer to over 100 rheumatic diseases that are characterized by problems in and around joints.

10 VISION 2010  46 Million Reasons Today- 67 Million Reasons Tomorrow! Arthritis in the US is projected to increase by 46% from 46 million (1 in 5) today to 67 million (1 in 4) in 2030.
