Traditional Story from Catalunya,Spain The interpretation by the Portuguese Children The snail The snail went to the doctor because he was sick of the tummy. He said it was hurting him. The doctor gave him a paper with a tree to buy. He folded the paper and brought a plant. Could not take the plant and called the ladybug, his friend and pulled the two together. Failed and a rat were called. And were also unable and a Dalmatian dog was called. Failed to take it off, they were not yet very strong. Then they called the wolf. With the friends and the wolf, they succeeded, because the wolf was very strong.

He walked a bit more and could heard better. Finally found the cow and made a pat. Next little cow the kitty liked parties and granted him 3 wishes. The 1st wish was to bring up rain and the little cow drank water because she was thirsty. The 2nd wish was to bring up fire and desire did appear... ( and we couldn't understand why.) The 3rd wish was to bring up wind to extinguish the fire. A very loud noise was heard and then appeared a big monster screaming and the lord and the little cow ran away.
Traditional Story from Cyprus The interpretation by the Portuguese Children The Fox and the King “Once upon a time a fox. She was sitting down and had a friend. The friend of the fox was making dinner. The friend went to pick up a jug with water to give to the fox but he got tired. Then the fox climbed up the vine and felt like sniffing grapes. The friend called on the fox to drink water from the jug and took off the fox tree because she was trying to eat the grapes. Then the fox got upset and gone take a walk and crossed one bridge until he came to a King castle. Then king said he was weighing some gold coins to try to get rich. The fox gave a few coins to the king and in return he gave him a pink cape. The king weighed the coins that the fox had given him and noticed of them was was a gold. The king were so happy that he called a princess to go to the castle and they adopted the fox as a pet. Then the fox said to his friend who was now he was a pet and now she could not leave the castle but could keep on going to be his friend because he was no longer angry. Then the priest married the princess to the king because he was rich and then they went on carriage to the castle. The fox, who was in the castle, was handling dragons and picked up a stick and managed to get rid of them. The fox could be stronger and then burned in a dungeon dragons. So they all lived happily ever after because there was no more dragons in the castle. "
Tradittinonal Story from Italy The interpretation by the Portuguese Children After viewing the story, the children, they mentioned that it was based on a raindrop, as it walked through the clouds. They further argued that seemed to them that the little drop of rain was asleep when there was a big storm. Finally, the sun came up.
Traditional Story from England The interpretation by the Portuguese Children Three Little Piggy´s The children mentioned the existence of three litle pigs and of a wolf that was too bad, because he wanted to eat them all. History according to the degree of difficulty in solving the challenges presented when describing were bad wolf. First the little house of straw, next the one made of wood and finally the house of bricks. Also made reference to the cleverness of the last piglet was responsible for the desired effect, which was get rid of the bad wolf. Finally said that persistence of the piggy´s was rewarded.

Then she took off the milk from the cow. The girl unintentionally wake up the cat and the cat drank the milk that she had took of from the cow. The girl screamed to the cat and he afraid, climbed up the ladder. "
Traditional Story from Greece The hare and the tortoise Once upon a time a tortoise and a hare made a run. The hare was resting and fell asleep... The turtle did not rest and was always walking! The tortoise won the hare and the hare stoud crying. The turtle was selfish because they did not share the trophy! And victory, victory... It´s the end of the story!!!
The Portuguese Story Who want to marry little beetle “Carochinha” Once upon a time there was a little beetle (carochinha), she was clening the floor and found a litle coin. She said – Oh! Now now I can buy a tape to look pretty and find a groom to marry me!!! She went to the window start to ask - Who wont to marry the little beetle? The dog appeared and said – I want, i want! ão ão ão! The little beetle answer – No, no, i dont marry you, you have a strong voice and wake up my kids whwn they sleep! - Who wont to marry the little beetle? The cat Appeared and said – I want, i want, miau, miau, miau! The little beetle answer – No, no, i dont marry you, you have a strong voice and wake up my kids whwn they sleep! - Who wont to marry the little beetle? The cok appeared and said - I want, i want! Cócorocócó! The little beetle answer – No, no, i dont marry you, you have a strong voice and wake up my kids whwn they sleep! - Who wont to marry the little beetle? The cok appeared and said - I want, i want! Múm múm, mum! The little beetle answer – No, no, i dont marry you, you have a strong voice and wake up my kids whwn they sleep! Then the Jonnhy mouse appeared after and the little beetle was delighted with his voice hihihi!! She immediately wanted to marry him! But... after they married the beetle was out and left a pot to cook the beans... the Jonnhy Mouse smelled the beans and he was peeking..- oh !!!! there dropped the mouse into the cauldron!!! When the little Beetle as return, she cried, cried a lot – Oh my dear Jonnhy Mouse, he was cooked and baked in the cauldron!!! All there friends heard her crying... and then…. it came the dog, it came the cat, it came the rooster, the cow came... and all helped to remove the Jonnhy Mouse from the cauldron. And now, they are all happy again!!!
