Understand the services offered through the NWTC Career Services office Navigate the Explore Careers website to look for jobs and find job search tips Register for WI TechConnect (www.wisconsintechconnect.com)www.wisconsintechconnect.com By the end of this presentation, you will be able to:

Resumes can be submitted for review via email to email@example.com or dropped off in the Career Center (SC235) Approximately 1 week turnaround time for reviews An employer will spend less than 30 seconds reviewing your resume before deciding “yes” or “no” A resume is your first chance to show an employer you are the best candidate.
The mock interview will consist of a 45 minute one- on-one appointment The interview can be a generic interview or practice for a specific position Walk out the door with specific strategies to increase your interviewing confidence Mock Interviews are a great opportunity to become familiar with interview questions
