2. In high summer temperature during our wonderful family holiday we reached the sovereign British crown's territory – Gibraltar.

3. Gibraltar Relatively an infinitesimal peace of the land in the south of Europe has been one of the most strategic places in the world for centuries. That's why a lot of counties wanted always to capture it. Now, for already 300 years it has been the part of Great Britain.

4. Gibraltar It's a very pleasant and attractive place for tourists. You can hardly cross the plane runway on foot anywhere else - by means of the traffic lights. You can go along the "English Street" and then you can go by cableway (if you find it - its enter station is very inconspicuous) to the peak of Gibraltar rocks from where there is a great view of Morocco, when it's a nice weather. This peak used to belong to soldiers for centuries; the rest of the fort is a stronghold for monkeys (only just one kind of monkeys that lives free in Europe). They are very friendly and they are said to be very well there. They haven't driven out the soldiers - nowadays the soldiers occupy the hill next to the monkeys' peak.

5. Gibraltar In addition to it - the classical phone booth and English like the official language - it's "the old good England" but in a little bit exotic form.

6. Gibraltar After a several-hour visit to this "England" we returned to Europe by crossing the runway again.
