Superintendent’s Advisory Committee Plan Criteria  Provide the best possible learning opportunities for all students.  Ensure that all schools will be utilized to the greatest extent possible in order to maximize all resources at each facility.  Minimize additional expenses to transportation, modifications to school site facilities, and/or programs.  Changes should consider likely future boundary changes due to growth/declining enrollment or as new schools are constructed.  Provide minimum disruption of the educational program for each student and school.  Attempt to minimize staff displacement and disruption.  Achieve wide support from the community.  Make the optimal effort to avoid splitting siblings between schools.

Discuss pros and cons of potential plans (sub-committees). Develop sub-committee recommendation. Present sub-committee recommendations to entire committee. Entire committee will develop recommendation to the Superintendent. Superintendent takes boundary revision recommendations to Board of Trustees for approval.
